The Ninja Fresh Brew CE451 is a straightforward 14-cup programmable drip coffee maker with a glass carafe, a 70 oz removable reservoir, Classic and Rich brew styles, a 1-4 cup small-batch mode and a 24-hour delay brew. Owners and a hands-on reviewer praise its ease of use and coffee taste. The main concern is leaking: some owners report carafe drips and base leaks, and Amazon flags the listing for frequent leak-related returns. Coffee on the warming plate turns stewed after an hour or two, and there is no thermal carafe. It suits households that brew full pots on a schedule; long-term durability data for this model is not yet available.

What the features mean in everyday use.
The CE451 brews into a 14-cup glass carafe from a 70 oz removable water reservoir, and ships with a permanent filter and a Ninja Smart Scoop.
It has two brew styles (Classic and Rich), a 1-4 cup small-batch mode, a 24-hour programmable delay brew and an adjustable warming plate rated up to 4 hours. Kohl's also lists a mid-brew pause.
SharkNinja claims 'Thermal Flavor Extraction' gives 'hot, flavorful and never bitter coffee'.
The US version is rated at 1100 watts and 120 volts, with a 12-inch cord.
SharkNinja gives a one-year limited warranty. Replacement carafes, reservoirs, brew baskets and scoops are sold separately on SharkNinja's site.
Best Buy reviewers most often say the machine is easy to use, program and clean.
Many reviewers praise the coffee's taste and heat. Tom's Guide found the flavor rich over two weeks of testing, but said it is not the tastiest drip coffee they have tested and that the machine lacks SCA certification.
Amazon labels the CE451 listing 'Frequently returned due to leaking'. Individual owners report the carafe leaking when pouring (Best Buy), water leaking from the base after about a year (a review syndicated from SharkNinja.com on Walmart), and the brew continuing to drip when the carafe is pulled mid-brew. In contrast, Tom's Guide found the carafe 'pours smoothly with no drips'.
Tom's Guide says coffee tastes stewed after one to two hours on the warming plate and lists no thermal carafe option as a con. One Best Buy reviewer wished the warming plate stayed on longer.
Tom's Guide measured a maximum of 65 dB and an average of 47 dB. A 4-cup small batch took just over five minutes, which the reviewer found a bit long.
Single Best Buy reviewers mention the clock drifting minutes behind, fine grounds passing through the permanent filter, condensation, and a reservoir base that is hard to clean.
Several Walmart reviewers on the shared Fresh Brew listing, tagged as 12-cup purchases, say that a warranty replacement required cutting the power cord and paying return shipping. SharkNinja's replies confirm that the unit has to be disabled and that shipping costs apply.
Applies to the model family
Ratings vary widely by store. Best Buy's small review pool, entirely tagged 'Incentivized', is far more positive than Amazon's, where about a fifth of ratings are one star.
The CE451's long-term durability is unclear. Its reviews mostly cover a few weeks to months of ownership, the leak-related return badge on Amazon is a warning sign, and Consumer Reports' reliability data is paywalled.
Kohl's and Best Buy list the machine as hand wash, while Tom's Guide says the carafe and reusable filter are dishwasher-safe.
The list price at SharkNinja, Best Buy, Walmart, Kohl's, Amazon and Scheels was $119.99 on 2026-11-08.

Summarized from the 36 reviews we read. A review can mention several points, so the theme counts can add up to more than 36.
Owners mostly like how simple the Fresh Brew is to program, fill and clean, and many say it makes hot, good-tasting coffee. The removable reservoir, the large carafe, the delay brew and the warming plate get frequent praise, and several buyers chose it to replace an older Ninja that lasted many years. The complaints are fewer but more serious. Leaking comes up repeatedly: carafes that drip when pouring, water seeping from the base after extended use, and a drip that continues when the carafe is pulled mid-brew. Smaller gripes include the warming plate shutting off sooner than wanted, a clock that drifts, fine grounds passing the permanent filter, a reservoir base that is hard to clean, and a lid that would not close on one unit. A few owners felt it is nothing special for the price.

Just wish that it would not shut off in such a short time. When I go for a second cup the heating element is off.

My only complaint with this coffee make is the clock. I set it to the correct time and days later when I look at the coffee maker time, it’s always MINUTES behind. No matter how many times I change it back to the correct time, it always ends up minutes behind over a period of days.

One of the best coffee makers we have ever bought. It's looks amazing and brews coffee better than anything we have ever had. Controls are very easy to use and it is very solid built and not cheap.

There is nothing special about the coffee maker. Makes coffee like my 20 dollar cooff maker did. I bought it based on reviews. The coffee maker leaves condenstation all day till cleaned.

Our last Ninja coffee maker had an issue with the water reservoir, The design made it impossible to clean it, the bottom of the water reservoir is inaccessible and developed mold. Even with regular cleaning, it didn't stop the mold. We went ahead and ordered a new Ninja, as it seemed to be redesigned model, so the hope was they fixed the issue with the water reservoir....nope. Not only is it the same plastic bubble at the base of the reservoir, so it's not possible to clean.....BUT the carafe leaks when pouring, causing a safety issue.

Love the style and the Coffee scoop attached to the side of it. Very discreet. Depending on what type of coffee you like, you may want to buy some coffee filters. It has one already, but my grinds are fine and slipped through the one it comes woth. Overerall great coffee maker

My last Ninja lasted 9 years. Now I have this one. It’s a 14 cup, easy to use and looks good in my kitchen. A great price on a great coffee maker. What more can you ask for?

I love the design and the way it makes coffee. Easy to clean - not really sure what the little white cap that sits in the tank is for. But it is a pretty nice coffee maker. I am going to purchase filters so I can use them sometimes.

E*** 3/5 November 4, 2026 Walmart Walmart: Color Charcoal, Finish 14 Cups
I needed two of these coffee pots. One is great, the other was defective. I'm in the process of returning the defective one (and will order and test another one). Here were the problems: The hinged "lid" on one pot did not close completely -- almost like the hinge is "sprung." When the coffee was brewing, a lot of steam was exiting from under that not-closed lid. Also -- really strange in 2026! --- when I removed the pot in mid-brew of a 10 cup pot to grab a quick cup, the drip continues! …

This is my second one. Both of them after about a year start to leak water out of the bottom. What is up with that? I really like this product but the leaking is annoying,

The Ninja Fresh Brew Drip Coffee Maker offers versatile Classic and Rich brew styles, catering to both single-batch and large 14-cup servings. It includes convenient features like a 24-hour delay brew and a removable water reservoir, though the glass carafe is fragile and keeping coffee on the warming plate for extended periods can affect the taste.
YouTube · Review
The reviewer highly praises the Ninja Fresh Brew coffee maker after nearly a year of regular use, highlighting its removable water reservoir and versatile brew options. The coffee brews hot, tastes great, and has no plastic flavour or leakage issues. The only minor drawback is that steam escapes from the top during brewing, requiring the unit to be pulled forward from underneath low cabinets.
